A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I have worked all my life in art one form or another, either fine arts, commercial arts and 40 plus in animation. So now that I am joyfully not working full time, I fill my days gardening, cooking is my R&R. My French husband is my guinea pig for all the international foods I make. I grow an incredible herb garden and have been attempting to grow veggies that were so easy in Los Angeles and now a challenge in Florida. I also read quite a bit now and do energy transference work.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art because I have to, it is a necessity, a must! And I love it! My mother was an artist so it became a daily routine for creating at a very early age.

3. What inspires you?

Dance, Music, color, nature, the realm of the spirit and our connection with the universe.

4. What/who are your influences?

My influences for my work have been traveling, visiting most of the great museums of art in Paris, and Italy; books do not do justice to the original works! Actually, one of my past jobs was copying old masters, one can learn so much from the subject through the brush strokes of these amazing artists. I have worked doing these for many years working both in Los Angeles and France with international artist Jacques Harvey.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

If I could meet anyone in the past (in art), it would be DaVinci, Michelangelo, also, all the great minds in science: Tesla, Gregg Braden, the great spiritual minds past and present.
